Hey you. hihihi. actually this is my midterm break assignment. but my midterm break is my HOLIDAY! this is what im gonna tell you. HAHA. a day after a week of my midterm break *yesterday. only then i start doing my assignment. lazy university student.
before this i already found articles about rabbit that i found it by myself. but on monday then i found an article that is wayyyy better than mine from yahoo answer (which is that night the speech will be start)ceisss. fortunately there is no my turn!. okay here i go..
RABBIT AS A MAN’S BESTFRIEND
Assalamualaikum and a very good evening everyone. Today I am presenting my speech on Rabbit As A Man Bestfriend . I decided to make my report on this topic because rabbit is a unique and beautiful creature as a pet. I really feel that rabbits are misunderstood with other animals like hamsters and mice, while they are very intelligent and lovely creatures. They enjoy food, treats and many activities.
Did you know that there are more than 40 kind of rabbit? . According to American Rabbit Breeders Association,there are 47 type of rabbit. Such figure may appear too abstract for us, as well as they are have many differences . Some of them that available in Malaysia is Holland Lop, Netherland Dwarf, Lionhead, and Angora.
They are loved pets, family members, and very social creatures. They do not bite, for the most part, and enjoy being held and talked to in soft tones. Rabbits have been companions with humans for over hundreds of years.But, unfortunately, it's not all fun and games, lots of rabbits get hurt and mistreated by their owners. They are neglected, and for days go without food and water, sometimes even stuck living in a dirty, soiled cage.
Rabbits are used for makeup testing because of their large eyes, they are used for fur, lucky feet, meat, coats, carpets, and fur slippers, not to mention that they are most commenly skinned alive.As sad as that is, there are things we can do to help this. For one, we can go to animal shelters to adopt rabbits and save them from being euthanized. We can also volenteer in shelters and help them have a happier relashionship with humans. We can make a fuss about this, and show the animal endangerers that we will not stand by while they hurt our furry friends.
While doing my report, I found some unpleasent things, but I also found a few interesting facts on rabbits. That are they use their keen senses to hear or smell if danger is near. Did you know they could move their ears independently of each other? They can, to help them hear if danger is approaching. It's the rabbit's own built-in radar system.They also have powerful hind legs that they use to get them out of danger. That is why you’ll see rabbits darting across a yard very quickly. Wild rabbits can reach speeds of 24 miles an hour.
And other than that is , there are also a kind of rabbit that hairless. I was surprised at the last one.Before this, I thought that only dogs have that hairless types.
I really enjoyed this report. I learned a lot about rabbits and I'm pleased with most of what I've seen. That’s all from me and thank you for being so attentive.<<<<<
